THE JAZZ CONNECTION | WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2025 @ 7:30 PM

Pianist and composer Julie Bonk leads the Julie Bonk Band, bringing her signature blend of jazz and blues to the stage. She's joined by Chris Clarke on bass, Rachella Parks-Washington on saxophone, Andrew Griffith on drums, and Andrea Wallace on vocals.

Then, enjoy a standout performance from Brad Leali Quartet featuring Carla Helmbrecht. This dynamic quartet features Brad Leali's rich alto saxophone, Carla Helmbrecht's smooth and expressive vocals, Stefan Karlsson on piano, Quincy Davis on drums, and Henry Beal on bass.

JAZZ WITH A TWIST | WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2025 @ 7:30 PM

Vocal dynamo Andrea Wallace returns to the stage for a night that fuses tradition with fresh, new perspectives. Joining her are Eric Willis on piano, Nick Woodhouse on bass, Cleon Edwards on drums, and Marcus Parks on trombone-bringing flair and finesse to every phrase. 

Guitarist Todd Parsnow takes the stage with a heartfelt, versatile style shaped by diverse influences- and might even perform some vocals during the set. He's joined by Jonathan Fisher on bass, Andrew Griffith on drums, and a dynamic horn section.

JAZZ HEROES | WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2025 @ 7:30 PM

Longtime audience favorite James Driscoll makes his Sammons Jazz headlining debut with the James Driscoll Quartet. A master of bass and guitar, he leads a tight-knit group featuring Stockton Helbing (drums), Davy Mooney (guitar), and Chris McGuire (saxophone) for a night of creative interplay and groove. 

Closing out the fall season, drummer and bandleader Brian Harmon leads the Brian Harmon Quartet in a performance full of character and standout musicianship. He's joined by Young Heo on bass, Ben Bohorquez on saxophone, and Peter Rioux on piano-delivering a dynamic finale to a memorable season.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2025 @ 7:30 PM

A voice that can shake the rafters and stir the soul. Operatic bass-baritone Keron Jackson commands the stage with his stunning vocal power and magnetic presence. From opera and gospel to musical theatre and spirituals, his performances defy genre while drawing from a powerful personal story of resilience and redemption. Known for roles in Show Boat, Porgy and Bess, and Moby Dick, Jackson's artistry is matched only by his mission to inspire through music.

Elegent, expressive, and effortlessly cool, Heather Paterson brings her crystalline voice and rich jazz interpretations back to the Sammons Center's audience. Heather infuses every song with heartfelt storytelling, impeccable technique, and the timeless charm of the Great American Songbook. Inspired by jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald and backed by decades of musical and life experience, she delivers performances that are as moving as they are masterful. We are honored to welcome her back for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of song and swing.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2025 @ 7:30 PM

Celebrate the season with a joyful cabaret celebration that wraps music, merriment, and a dash of surprise into one dazzling package. Featuring festive favorites, sing-alongs, surprise guests, and maybe even a visit from the jolliest figure of all, this one-of-a-kind holiday concert will leave you humming all the way home. Come for the songs, stay for the spirit-and don't forget to grab a seasonal treat on your way in!

Membership: Sammons Center members help support quality performances by top local artists, legends and rising stars alike, who perform at Sammons Jazz, Cabaret, and Discovery concerts. Presenting a diverse range of music, from swing and Latin jazz to the Great American Songbook, contemporary pop, world music, and more, the concerts are held in a relaxed and intimate setting. 

Volunteer: The Center is grateful to have dedicated volunteers who support the operational needs, helping with concerts and special events, and serving on our board of directors and committees.

We're seeking additional volunteers to assist in various capacities. Please contact info@sammonsartcenter.org if you're interested in volunteering your time and/or talent(s). 

Donate: We rely on the support of our generous donors and concert patrons to fund the Sammons Center's mission to "Grow the Arts" by providing a welcoming home for artists and arts groups to innovate, collaborate, and thrive, thereby enriching the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.
